What is your current dream job?

My dream job is one where I can combine my passions while still creating positive change.

What inspires you?

I’m inspired by the world around me, I like to travel or even just take walks and observe everything.

Who is your role model and why?

My parents are my role models, they immigrated from Mexico to the U.S in search of a better life. They’ve taught me the value of hard work and to never give up on my dreams.

What made you want to intern with Project Style?

Last semester, I was feeling unfulfilled and wanted to do more. It was thanks to a mentor assignment that I got involved with Project Style. I told my professor that I would like to get involved with a non for profit that involved Fashion. She gave me Victoria Watkin's contact info and I contacted her to be my mentor. After learning about Project Style’s mission, I expressed to Victoria that I would like to volunteer.

What has been your most enjoyable moment working with Project Style?

My most enjoyable moment has been able to see the girl’s smile and come together in the workshops.

What has Project Style taught you?

Project Style has taught me that when you’re passionate about something you find a way to make it work. During the Fall semester of 2018, I managed to get straight A’s while working full-time and interning with Project Style. I have a lot of respect and look up to all the ladies in the organization. It’s not easy juggling a full-time job and running an organization but these ladies make it happen.

What are your plans for the summer?

My plans for the summer are to get back to a consistent workout routine, read more, and travel. I’m planning a short trip to Vegas and then ending the summer by taking a trip to London and Spain with my boyfriend. Also, of course continue to volunteer for Project Style.
