STYLE ALERT! Amber Podlaski is an up-and-coming model who is turning her dreams as a little girl into a reality. Amber kicked off her modeling career in June of 2021. She began shooting in New York City and increased her career due to her consistency and dedication. Amber is now signed to be represented by a mother agent. Although amber aspires to turn modeling into her full-time career, she is dedicated to her future career and inspiring young girls to chase their wildest dreams! Let’s hear how it’s going so far and what’s coming next!

What inspired you to your current career path?

Since a young age, I was always intrigued by modeling; my passion for modeling grew once I started believing in myself. I have a passion for styling my outfits, and taking pictures is something that I genuinely love to do. I have grown my confidence in myself and see myself on runways and up on billboards in the future. I have always thought about taking everything that I love and turning it into a career. My inspiration stems from my self-drive to have a job that I love and is fulfilling.

What was the best piece of advice you received when first starting out?

“Never give up on something you love” My photographers, friends, and family have all given me this advice, although it is a simple statement it truly speaks volumes. The biggest obstacle you are going to face in life is yourself and your fears. Knowing what you want and finding what you love with complete confidence in yourself will get you where you want to be.

What advice would you give to young girls who have dreams of becoming a model?

“TO DO IT, do not hold back on yourself and start now!!” and that you only fail when you stop trying. You are the one person that you can always count on and that you can always believe in. Be the best version of yourself and never imitate another who is doing something like you. Step out of your comfort zone and be who you want to be!

What is your greatest accomplishment, and what is your next goal?

My greatest accomplishment is putting myself out there and making my dreams a reality which has led me to be signed to a mother agent and growing my portfolio! My next goal is to be placed with an agency and to increase my reach and career.

What is the biggest lesson you have learned so far?

"My boundaries cannot be crossed" In this industry or any job, people will try to push you to do things that you don't want to do or place you in a box that you would never put yourself in. I have learned that I need to always speak up for myself and only do things that reflect my image in the way I want to be perceived.

What can you say to all the young women who are scared to fail?

Failure is necessary for success, and when loss comes around, the best thing you can do with it is to learn from it. It is okay not to be the best all the time, and the important thing is that you give yourself room to grow and set new goals to chase.

If you are ever doubtful in yourself, how do you overcome those feelings?

When I doubt myself, the best thing I tell myself is that I need to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Once you can master that, your confidence and self-esteem will be at an all-time high. It is important to remember that you can not change yesterday or worry about tomorrow; focusing on the moment you are in will allow you to lower these self-doubts.
